Besides that there are things that are often overlooked, namely ethics as a very important role. The word "Ethics" comes from the Greek Ethos, which means character (Ethics).

Generally programmers try to fulfill the client's willingness, but not a few of the programmers forget the future development of a system or program, if it has been made and wants to be changed, it has to be overhauled like a database and others which have fatal consequences. So programmers must be able to think carefully about what the client needs and future prospects.Here there are a few ethics, a programmer who is standalone and works in a team more or less the same, including:
- Programmers may not abuse positions.
- Programmers may not claim to make their own programs, but the source code is taken from various sources except asking permission to the source code maker earlier
- Programmers cannot drop each other / denounce the code made to other programmers.
- Not a few of us indirectly do that, it would be better to work together to find solutions or develop existing applications
- If it is related to company or other data, the Programmer may not disseminate data for certain personal or individual interests.
- The programmer must be responsible for what he made and done.
- Programmers must be good at communicating with clients.
- Programmers may create destructive programs that are embedded in client computers or anywhere.
